Should I have an HIV test?
All people who have had sex can have an HIV test. If you or your sex partner have multiple sex partners, you should consider to have regular HIV test. If acquired a sexually transmitted infection, an early HIV test should be arranged. The following populations are known to be at higher risk of contracting HIV. They are recommended to have HIV testing at regular intervals:
Men who have sex with men
Transgender people
Sex workers and their clients
People who inject drugs
People (or their sex partner) who have multiple sex partners
Sex partners of HIV positive individuals (until consistent viral suppression was documented)
